After breakfast, we start our day greeting the tutelary Apus of Cusco and asking permission and guidance to accompany us during the trip.
Visit the ruins of Ollantaytambo located within the town of the same name which is considered the last living Inca people because of its layout and architecture. When we are ready, take one of the buses back to Aguas Calientes to board the train that will take us to the city of Cusco.
We begin our tour visiting the archaeological complex of Sacsayhuaman (upper part of town). 5pm. Arrival to the city of Puno. Pick up from the Bus Station and transfer to hotel.
After breakfast we headed to the port of Puno to take the boat that will take us to the Island of the Uros, recognized by the rurality of life in the peaceful lands of this island. At any time of day and in any part of the island you can see women of all ages weaving blankets, scarves and hats which they then sell at craft fair of the "People".
We continue our trip to Taquile Island where you can appreciate nature, crafts and their own culture. Taquile is a unique sociocultural corner of the world; there, the traditions and customs of the people have not changed by the incursion of tourism. After breakfast we explore the mysterious Stone Forest Amaru Muru, special place located near the shores of Lake Titicaca and of which it is said was an ancient temple. We will visit the Stone Forest learning about the different animals depicted on it and take a short meditation facing to the door Amaru Muru or Inti Punku (Sun Gate) door carved into a giant stone from Inca time, and that according to some, holds the codes necessary to access other dimensions.
At the end of our tour we will have time to feel the place and do some meditations, then transfer to hotel.
Pick up from hotel and transfer to the airport in Juliaca (Puno). On the way visit the Sillustani which are located in an archaeological center 34 kms. city of Puno.
His burial is one of the largest in America and one of the most impressive in the world. It is located at an altitude of 4,000 meters on a peninsula that looks like a large square, surrounded by the beautiful lake Umayo.
The chullpas found here are impressive funerary monuments built by the Collas. These buildings quadrangular and circulate more than 12 meters high and its architectural design is a real challenge to balance by having smaller diameter at the base than at the summit segment. The most outstanding is the Chullpa del Lagarto and Intiwatana.
