Colca Canyon: Trekking

3:00 a.m. pick up from hotel, to go to the town of Cabanaconde where we arrive after 5 hours of travel, we will take our breakfast.
We started our journey on the 3280 m after three hours of walking we reached the first community of San Juan de Chuccho 2,300 m, descending 1000 meters, approximately, where runs along the Colca River around the site visit, lunch and continue walking for an hour and a half until another rural community of name Cosñirhua (2,660. masl), we take a short break, and continue the trek to Sangalle or also known as the Oasis (1,160 masl) where we will enjoy our free time and we bathe in a cool pool of 20 º C. Dinner and overnight in bungalows.  

We will wake up at 04:00 am previously coordinated with the guide to start the hike upstream to the town of Cabanaconde 3 hours aprox. Breakfast in Cabanaconde, then we will start our journey to the Cruz del Condor (45 minutes), in this place we will enjoy the fabulous flight of the Condors, for a period of one and a half.
Then we will go to the district of Chivay, the most important town along the Colca Valley and from this point we will go to the Baths of Calera 38 º C where we can enjoy the calming waters. Then we will back to Chivay. We will have lunch at the time set previously with the group and return to the city of Arequipa where we will arrive at 05.30 pm This is how we will end this fascinating adventure. Return to Arequipa.
