Arequipa

A 417 km at northwest side of the city of Arequipa (6 hours 30 minutes by car), you reach the creek of Chala, at the height of the diversion at kilometer 615 of the Panamerican Highway South, and thence cross 7 km north.
Archaeological complex noted for its long occupation, it presents Preceramic remains dating to the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, indicating the Inca presence. Some archaeologists and historians believe that since this place started one of the most important Inca roads, after entering to the Ayacucho territory, came to Cusco. 
Ideal for a weekend in the beach.
