Arequipa

Yura is a narrow valley, hidden trachytic conglomerate hills, located northwest of Arequipa distant from it 30 km, to 2,575 m. above sea level; paradise for geologists and paleontologists peculiar terrain features, not far from the village there is a real fossil sloths ossuary. Yura is famous for its limestone quarries, which provided them material old colonial buildings, now has a modern cement plant which even exports to the Andean market.
Yura is also renowned for its entertaining and delightful corners mountain climate. But mostly, Yura is famous for its curative hot springs.
They are used with great success in various forms of rheumatism, obesity and skin diseases, anemia and chlorosis, nervous debility, infertility due to uterine catarrh and weak adolescents caused by development.
The spa mixed well represented by Zamácola, a small swimming pool, indoors, where they meet the waters of the three sources, ferruginous, sulphurous weak and drinking. You can help cure certain types of diabetes.
