The Tambopata National Reserve constitutes the largest bi-national park in the world. Holds several world records in flora and fauna of the region: 545 bird species in just 5,500 hectares, 1122 species of butterflies, 151 species of dragonflies and 29 species of tiger beetles.
Offers a variety of excursions by land and river, where we can appreciate the charms of the Amazon rainforest. We will find the beauty of nature in our outings and the most wonderful biodiversity of earth. During your visit we will welcome you to Puerto Maldonado and make a stroll to the Butterfly House. Later we arrive at Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica. We will hike the trail system and having an entertaining evening rain. Overnight. Then we will be having fun at Sandoval Lake, the most beautiful Amazon lakes and at Anaconda Walk. It is a recommended destination by the magazine Conde Nest.
We will not let go of a visit to the Gamitana Gorge, visit the farm and make a picnic lunch. Overnight. The last day we will have fun at the Butterfly House and flight to your next destination in Peru.

Day 1: Puerto Maldonado - Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica

We welcome you to Puerto Maldonado, Check-In at our Butterfly House (Butterfly Inkaterra) near the airport. Later transfer to the pier and experience the charm of the jungle. We will have a 45 minute boat ride along the Madre de Dios River to Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica. Upon arrival we will have a brief presentation of this natural wonder. Lunch in the dining room.

Walk the trails System and Río Noche hiking. We will do a guided walk along the Trail system in natural areas of the hotel and Rio de Noche. Finally enjoy delicious cocktails followed by a dinner served in the main dining room. Then you may want to relax or have fun with us in a talk about your first day in the jungle. Overnight at Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica.

Day 2: Excursion to Sandoval Lake.

We will have an early breakfast. Then excursion to Lake Sandoval in the Tambopata National Reserve. We return to the Inkaterra lodge for lunch. Inkaterra Canopy Tours and Anaconda Walk. Enjoy the stunning Inkaterra Canopy and Anaconda Walk. We may extend the tour to appreciate the sunset from one of the towers.
After descending the Canopy we will do the Anaconda Walk for 30 minutes along 200 meters of wooden bridges over Aguajales marshes. Back at the lodge, enjoy a cocktail in the main dining room or in the nature presentation in the Eco Center. Overnight at Inkaterra Amazon Reserve.

Day 3: Visit the Butterfly House - Airport.

We will enjoy a breakfast before going to see this beauty. Travel back in 45 minutes by boat, through the Madre de Dios River to Puerto Maldonado.
