A thirty minute walk from Refugio Amazonas leads to the canopy tower 25 meters high. A staircase with railing provides a secure access to the platforms above. The tower has been built upon high ground, therefore increasing the horizon of primary forest extending out towards the Tambopata National Reserve. From here you can see different species of birds such as toucans, macaws and raptors, among others. Breakfast at the Refuge.

Presentation on the Tambopata National Reserve.
After dinner evening presentations will be prepared by the staff of Refugio Amazonas to discuss conservation issues, opportunities and projects in the Tambopata National Reserve. Overnight at Refugio Amazonas.
