Wasai Tambopata Lodge

Pick up from Puerto Maldonado airport and transfer to Wasaí Tambopata Lodge. There you will be welcomed with a delicious juice from the region. Then we transfer to the port where you will board a boat outboard along the Tambopata River. This adventure trip will take between 3.5 to 4 hours to reach Wasaí Tambopata Lodge located in the Tambopata National Reserve. On our journey we will observe exotic birds and mammals such as capybaras, caimans, turtles, vultures, parrots, macaws and orioles that inhabit the Tambopata River. Your arrival at Lodge will be comfortable and safe. We will do night walks to see species of animals and insects that live in the Amazon.
Overnight in Tambopata Lodge Wasaí

In the morning, very early, we will walk half an hour to visit the parrot clay lick in Gato River. This visit will allow us to see various species of parrots, macaws and exotic birds and animals that inhabit the Reserve. We will visit the Gato River waterfall and return to the lodge for breakfast. We will make a rowing canoe ride up the Tambopata River and enjoy beautiful natural scenery and also watch the birds on the banks of the river. If conditions allow us, we can enjoy some of the Tambopata River beaches. Lunch. In the afternoon we will hike ethnobotany to marsh area where it is located "Aventura Amazonas". The trail offers the opportunity to see giant trees, experience the great biodiversity that offers both jungle flora and fauna. Arriving in "Aventura Amazonas", we will be performing different activities along the swamp, crossing bridges or just relax enjoying the natural surroundings of great beauty.
At night we begin a new adventure in search of alligators along the banks of the Tambopata River.
Dinner. Overnight in Wasaí Tambopata Lodge. Happy hour 4-6:30 pm

Return to Puerto Maldonado going along the Tambopata River.
Depending on the time of your flight or if delay you may continue to rest at our hotel in Puerto Maldonado and enjoy the bar and pool.
