Pick up from the hotel. We will travel to the Cachora village, located in the department of Apurimac. Passing through Pampa de Anta and Limatambo where you will find the Tarawasi Inca archaeological complex.
Once in Cachora we will start our trek, descending into the valley of the Apurimac river, with a fascinating view of the canyon and the glaciers that are the protective gods of the whole valley, after 3 hours descending we will reach: Chikiska, which is the place where we will camp.
After breakfast we will descend to Rosalina Beach on the banks of Apurimac River (1,800 m) where we will begin our ascent to the top of the canyon.
This stretch is somewhat difficult, the sun is strong during the day, so we will start walking early in the morning (down), and will arrive in the afternoon to the top of the path, called Marampata, in this place we will camp near the Choquequirao ruins. In the afternoon we will visit the archaeological site of Choquequirao, where we will have the guided visit with our guide. In the afternoon we will return to the camp.
In the morning we will start our walk down, in the same stretch where we got up Marampata, here we will have lunch and then will descend to reach Rosalina Beach in the evening. Then we will begin the ascent to the camp, in Chikiska.
We begin our hike early in the morning, returning to the town of Cachora, where we expect our transport to take us back to Cusco city.
