4 Days / 3 Nights

For trekking lovers, enjoy four fantastic days on the Inca Trail to the citadel of Machu Picchu where we will walk by different altitudinal belts and have the opportunity to see varieties of flora and fauna native of the region (Gallito de las Rocas, spectacled bear, birds and orchids). Along the way, we will visit other archaeological sites of the Inca culture as Runcurakay, Winayhuayna, Puyupatamarka and others.

6:00 a.m. Pick up from hotel to start the trip in a private bus to Km 82 (In the IncasSacred Valley), where we will meet with the staff who will accompany us during the trek (porters and cook). During the walk, we appreciate the Veronica Nevado (5,682 m.), in the afternoon we will camp in Huayllabamba.

Will begin trekking early in the morning, ascending to the first step of Warmiwañusca (4,200 m), where we have a spectacular view of the valley. At this point, we will go through the dry climate of the highlands to the cloud forest, which is the high part of the rainforest, there we'll see different varieties of native plants, such as orchids. Camp on the banks along the river Pacaymayo.

After breakfast we will be walking to Runkurakay and will cross the second path with the same name (3,800 m.), Then descend to Sayacmarca, an important archaeological site, where we have lunch. Wiñayhuayna camp.

Will begin the walk early, because our goal is to reach Inti Punku, to appreciate the sunrise at Machu Picchu. Then, while in Machu Picchu, we will have a guided tour of the sacred city of the Incas. In the afternoon, we will descend to Aguas Calientes, then take the train back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 8:30 pm
