In the South Valley of Cusco, there are a set of pre-Inca, Inca and colonial ruins. Tipon: is a city of beautiful real enclosures and admirable fountains, which is one of the most important architectural complexes located within the city of Cusco.
Piquillaqta archaeological pre - Inca, characterized by their levels of stone, lime and plaster buildings, oddly named in late colonial times with this Quechua term which means "people of fleas." Andahuaylillas, traditional village in whose main square is located its colonial temple with admirable paintings of the Cusco School, known as the "Sixtine Chapel of America" for the beautiful baroque painted ceiling and walls.
