Ica: Visit Fossils in the Ocucaje Desert

Paracas is a port city on the southern coast of Peru, capital of the district in the province of Pisco, in the department of Ica.

This stroll starts at the Huacachina lagoon where we are moved by a 4x4 vehicle towards Ocucaje Desert, which is 25 kilometers away from Ica where large deposits of South American fossils can be found.
During the tour you will see fossils of pre-history, marine animals between 8 and 20 million years old. 

You can also practice some sandboarding during your stroll, after this thrilling ride will bring you back to Huacachina.
