Paracas: Paracas National Reserve

Paracas is a port city on the southern coast of Peru, capital of the district in the province of Pisco, in the department of Ica.

The Paracas National Reserve is a beautiful place for nature lovers, especially if you like to watch birds. The reserve was established in 1975 and is very important for birds and marine life protection. Paracas National Reserve covers an area of 827.803.03 acres which includes deserts, beaches and islands.
In National Reserve you can observe penguins, sea lions, dolphins, flamingos, pelicans and diversity of seabirds from viewpoints.
